A LIAC Committee
The Long Island Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Coalition

Information About Our Organization

The Long Island UU Social Justice Coalition was formed in the summer of 1997.  For several years we held meetings on a monthly or bimonthly basis.  The meetings rotated between three locations – the Shelter Rock UU Congregation, the UU Fellowship at Huntington, and the UU Fellowship at Stony Brook.   We don't have a regular meeting schedule planned for the coming year.  We're relying mainly on e-mail to keep in touch and informed.  You can subscribe to our e-mal list

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support that we received in our formative stage.  Thank you to

  • The Long Island Area Council of Unitarian Universalist Congregations
  • The Unitarian Universalist Fund for Social Responsibility
  • The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington
  • The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Stony Brook
  • The South Nassau UU Congregation (Freeport)
Contact us by e-mail if you have any questions.   John Morris ( web page ) , Jennifer Greene ( e-mail list )
