Information and Registration For Staff

Registration is only through the LIAC / CampBrain Electronic Registration System

There are 3 different staff positions available: Program Leader, House Parent, and Sight and Sound.  The following is a summary of each:

Program Leaders: Teach the religious education curriculum for approximately two hours each morning, and meet with other program leaders in the evening to plan the following day.  Program leaders are generally active UUs with some RE teacher experience.  Each Program Group will have at least 2 Program Leaders.

House Parents: Care for the campers in their cabin during in-cabin times and overnight.  Campers are placed in cabins by age and gender.  Each cabin will have at least two House Parents.

Sight and Sound: Be part of the team that provides supervision, safety, and security for the campers.  Sight and Sound team members have assignments for a particular time and location, and during that time, they are at their location providing supervision.  Active times can vary, and a schedule is made by the Sight and Sound Coordinator.

Activities: In addition to one of the above three jobs, all staff participate in afternoon activities, based on their availability outside of their primary assignment.  Activity assignments are based on a particular staff member’s talents and interests.  Activities are a great way to interact with a wide group of campers.  We try to make sure that each staff member has one afternoon off, with no activity assignments.
