LIAC’s Student Internship Program is made possible by the Student Activity Fund. SAF is a grant-program funded by the Unitarian Universalist Veatch Program at Shelter Rock.
Who can participate in Student Internship Program?
To participate in the Student Internship Program, you must:
• Be entering your senior year of High School in the Fall of 2019 for a 2019 Summer Internship or Be an undergraduate college or trade school student, a gap year student, or just graduated college in Spring of 2019. You must: • Be between ages 16 and 24 on June 1 of the year of application • Be a member or a child of member in good standing of a Long Island Unitarian Universalist Congregation • Have received no more than 4 years of Student Internships
Will I receive a monetary award for my work? Yes. Most student interns work between 10 – 35 hours per week for as many weeks as their schedule permits during the summer.
How do I Apply for an Internship?
ONLINE STUDENT INTERNSHIP APPLICATION
Submit an Online Application no later than May 15, 2020.
If accepted - attend the Mandatory Orientation & Leadership Meeting on May 16, 2020.
